In the spirit of the holiday’s the WHYTT wanted to reflect on all our favourite emerging creatives we have met or interviewed in the past year or so and create a unique Christmas list of emerging designers that we think you should have in your wardrobe this Christmas. There’s nothing better than supporting our worldwide creatives from fashion to accessory designers, so here are just some of our favourite designers. We would definitely love to unwrap these Christmas goodies from our secret Santa this year and so should you!
The Parisian designer Emily Reyneix knows how to create beautiful pieces of leather art from shoes to handbags. In our recent interview with the designer, we fell in love with all of her designs, but we have chosen only three pieces to quench your Parisian designer thirst. First we have the Shopper Bono bag with handmade handles in taurillon leather alongside a black wallet paired with Bowery Booties with lambskin & suede. See her full interview here.
Beatrice Korlekie Newman’s label Korlekie always brings an unique aspect to womenswear showcasing luxury and detail that is truly her own. Rita Ora has strutted her stuff in one of her pieces, so we thought why not add a little bit of luxury to your Christmas? We have selected two hot pieces from her collection that you should not be without. The Bandeau Dress and the gold polo neck sleeveless top, both pieces have that touch of glamour, detail and luxury that we love Korlekie for. Nothing better than supporting a local designer for Christmas, so why not sink your teeth into this gorgeous handbag range by Danielle Foster. Her Autumn Winter collection plays with an alluring wintery colour palette of navy, black and beige in the perfect tote bag, side bag and backpack. For our Christmas selection we chose her Kimberly satchel in navy and black, followed by the perfect tote that every women needs for those long trips overseas then the Kit Clutch that doubles as a shoulder bag. All that will fit your every style need. Revisit our piece on the designer here.
Hailing from Seattle the womenswear label Wyatt Orr gives us a breathe of fresh air for our Christmas list. Second is the matching combo of the Ginkgo pant with the Columbia top for a perfect ensemble for Christmas lunch. Re-live our interview with the talented duo here.
To satisfy your shoe cravings we turn to Jennie Ellen and her chic heels se we added to your Christmas list these three shoes to make your holiday season even brighter. Working with Jean Paul Gaultier and Alexander McQueen there is no shortage of luxury with this clothing label, so why wouldn’t you want a piece for an extra special Christmas? For this pick we chose Ethologie Arabian Oryx Iphone 5 case, the Jasper messenger bag in black (also available in blue and orange!) and for the perfect christmas dress the Chloe scoop neck panelled dress to turn heads in a crowd.
