Although a slower paced start to the night with individuals filling the venue in greater capacity while the supporting acts Matt Wilson and Greta Isaac went on first, it was clear by the end of the night that they all came to see Nathan. As soon as the crowd were aware that Nathan was about to grace the stage the venue was officially packed! Once the venue dimmed into a pitch black room – heightening the anticipation – and the stage lights reemerged and Nathan arrived, the crowd erupted into the kind of applause that can make an entire building move.
The band (Maxi on Guitar, Ollie on Keys, Will on drums Billy on Bass) opened with the infamous ‘Cold Hands’, reworked for the live show, which from this point on sent the entire venue insane with people that were unequivocally fans of Nathan Ball, knowing every song, save those from his new single, and not missing one lyric from his most popular songs to date. The share love that this audience had for this artists was duly noted as soon as ‘Right Place’ begun to play and Nathan Ball himself was unable to hide his awe for just how well reserved this relatively conservative and humble character was by the crowd, a crowd that now beckoned at his call.
