Slovak Fashion Council To Work With Fashion Scout At This LFW

At the forefront of leading emerging brands the diverse, neoteric, Fashion Scouts have collaborated with Slovak Fashion for this LFW, set to to showcase a steady stream of culturally influential new designs through this season from 15th – 18th February.

Founder and Chairwoman of Slovak Fashion Council Dana Kleinert was recognised as a British Council Young Creative Entrepreneur in 2012. Since 2013, the Slovak Fashion Council have presented the best of Slovak fashion at International Fashion Showcase and have introduced over 20 new designers to both industry professionals and public in interactive exhibitions focusing on new technologies and multi-disciplinary approach.

The non-profit organisation that supports and develops Slovak fashion is set to introduce some of the most pioneering designs from a selection of five instrumental designers Lukáš Krnáč, Pavol Dendis, Petra Kubíková, Silvia Zrebná, Vivien Babicová, to showcase at the Fashion Scouts event. On discussing this LFW Founder and Managing Director at Fashion Scout Martyn Roberts confirmed the solidity between these brands collaboration mentioning that “the five selected Slovak designers, showcase the best that Slovak Fashion Council has to offer. We are proud to host and showcase this exciting event on schedule at Fashion Scout, the international platform for Fashion pioneers. The partnership with the Slovak Fashion Council is another important step in working with global talent.”

Pavol Dendis – Menswear avant-garde designer with a focus on minimalistic design and strong emphasis on craft and detail.

Petra Kubíková – Drawing upon inspiration from Japanese culture, especially Tokyo and its atmosphere Petra works with natural materials such as wool, cotton, and leather.

Silvia Zrebná – Successfully graduating from Fashion studio at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. Her collection, presents her own RTW pieces, showing a variety of fabrics, precise attention to detail with dark colour palette.

Vivien Babicová – Slovak designer, currently based in Zlin, Czech Republic she has established her own line of RTW woman’s wear and accessories who produced the popular SEATBELT BAG.


Slovak Fashion Council continues to collaborate with British Council to present the five International Fashion Showcase Alumni fashion designers at Fashion Scout. Stating “It is of great importance for emerging designers from abroad to present their collections in such cities as London, where the fashion industry strives the most and where the top industry professionals, inc. media, buyers, influencers and opinion leaders, are concentrated.” Dana Kleinert together with International Fashion and Fashion Scouts continue to bolster international emerging brands, encouraging a platform to market through the international fashion week events and we are excited to see this new seasons shows.
