The prestigious Fashion weeks ended in a fabulous whirlwind with some of the worlds most acclaimed designers making a memorable fashion scene in the beautiful and whimsical Paris. Whether you’ one of those lucky fashionistas or drooling via Instagram, there was plenty of appetising moments.  From anticipating Nicolas Ghesquière to show off his vision for Louis Vuitton or wishing you bought some Chanel cookies at their runway store. The Digital Fashion Platform has a fashion wrap up that is tantalizing for your overly active stylish minds.   Last year Christine Phungwowed audiences with her collection on top the Galeries Lafayette but in this 2014 fashion week presentation the Lafayette museum transformed into a winter room for her show. With models showcasing Miss Phung’s Fall Winter pieces, where her unique inspiration took form as she expressed to News Yahoo “I was inspired by the story of an architect who heads to the mountains for a ski vacation, and makes a fire in a chalet with her lover.”  (read the full Christine Phung interview here) This love for winter skiing in Christine Phung’s collection was seen in other designers collections, who were inspired by a youthful girl out in the alps. With winter padded and textured jackets making a statement with matching skirts which was seen on the Miu Miu and Kenzo runways at Paris Fashion week seen below.

Stella McCartney let her models run around causing a media circus when supermodels Cara Delevingne and Joan Smalls rocked their chic knits down the Paris runway. The iconic label brought in starlets such as Rihanna, british breakout artist Aluna from AlunaGeorge and actress Salma Hayek just to name a few. The collection played into an on going trend of All Over Knits, with a superb mix of sporty luxe and embellished evening attire, with gold zip details on coats and dresses. McCartney matched a funky flat show that came in various colors of blue, red and nudes with a sustainably sourced block of wood in the sole.

Saving the most delectable for last is the Chanel Shopping Centre, where all Chanel dreams came true. The fashion elite were seen walking around the stylish market where the fruit and veg to homewares were labeled with the iconic Chanel logo, although the goods (besides the fresh produce) were not for the taking, this didn’t mean attendees didn’t try to take a piece of the show. Although the location was quite a distraction itself Mr Lagerfeld managed to draw attention to the clothes when the show started, with models carrying cling wrapped to grocery basket packaged Chanel bags with knitted pants and coats. The show ended with people running around in shopping carts having loads of fashionable fun, making anyone who wasn’t there quite envious and anticipating what the next collections will bring in 2014.
