Saving the most delectable for last is the Chanel Shopping Centre, where all Chanel dreams came true. The fashion elite were seen walking around the stylish market where the fruit and veg to homewares were labeled with the iconic Chanel logo, although the goods (besides the fresh produce) were not for the taking, this didn’t mean attendees didn’t try to take a piece of the show. Although the location was quite a distraction itself Mr Lagerfeld managed to draw attention to the clothes when the show started, with models carrying cling wrapped to grocery basket packaged Chanel bags with knitted pants and coats. The show ended with people running around in shopping carts having loads of fashionable fun, making anyone who wasn’t there quite envious and anticipating what the next collections will bring in 2014.
