Nude Nails and matte deep ox blood making an appearance. Models sported an almost nude to bare nail on designer’s catwalks such as Alexander Wang, Jil Stuart and Victoria Beckham who had a custom pink shade made to complete her nearly nude make up look on the runway. Whereas other designers Zimmermann and Costello Tagliapietra chose to stay away from nudes with a bold ox blood in a matte or a little accent on the tip of the nail.

Better Be Midi
The Midi Skirt never ever gets old when it comes to Fall and is making a strong comeback once again. Nothing is better than pairing an oversized sweater with a gorgeous midi skirt that is just about to kiss your ankles. On the 2014 runway the class skirt style was paired with oxfords as seen in Victoria Beckham an Zimmermann’s collections and bold boots as seen above in Preen’s Fall Winter Collection.

Don’t forget to bring our your favorite plaid, as models strutted down the runway in muted and bold plaids. With Dakota Fanning front row at the Rodarte show, models wore a bold tartan with white and studded details, creating a chic street attitude. Bold plaid was also seen on runways of Tommy Hilfiger and Creatures of Comfort who sported a vibrant blue version on the print. On the more darker and muted side of fashion designers like Vera Wang and emerging designer Honor played with a more muted plaid interpretation with their winter garments.

Whether it was Pharrell’s vintage Vivienne Westwood hat at the Grammy’s that inspired this look or we are in for a Cowboys and Indians themed winter. Western hats were seen on the top of models heads on the New York Fall 2014 runways. Tibi created a sophisticated women who loved a western touch with clean cut black hat while other designers such as Cushnie et Ochs and Dion Lee played with hat, with Mr Lee adding an alligator trim. Coach was another designer that indulged in this cowgirl fantasy sending a black hat down the runway.
