This London Fashion Week NAMES is one creative company that continues to help drive exposure to new talent in global fashion and this season brought to fashion an immersive fashion experience across multiple rooms at Somerset House, presenting three innovative conceptual designers, In Gold We Trust, Inkover Fashion and Landeros New York.
In Gold We Trust
Urban luxury brand In Gold We Trust was founded in 2012 by: Erik en Victor Fazel. In Gold We Trust has an international appearance, but stays close to the city where it all started: Amsterdam. In Gold We Trust has the focus on clothes for: Men, woman and children as well. With hoodies, t-shirts jogging pants. In gold we trust has a large collection, with a urban-taste around.
The name of the brand comes from the golden age. This golden age was the name of the fashion show where In Gold We Trust received positive reactions that encouraged the founders to keep this name. After that the brand made greater steps into both national and international fashion with celebrities such as Chris brown, Tyga, Future, French Montana adorned in this label during their performances on stage.
With quality over quantity as part of the signature of this brand, you can see this embodied in their clothing with the collections made from high-quality materials giving the brand its luxurious appearance.
As Italian fashion is not always known for its streetwear, that doesn’t mean streetwear does not exist in italy. Streetwear now-a-days plays an important role in fashion, and is increasingly becoming a part of the italian-fashion-culture. Inkover Fashion is a good example of this movement in fashion. Ink and streetwear have been seen working in tandem as it can often be generalised that when we we see most people who have ink on their body’s that are often seen wearing streetwear.
Founder Mr.Camillo Covoni who started as a tattooist had the idea to translate his love for ink into a street-wear-clothing brands with dynamic clothing for both woman and men. His mission was simple to bring ink in various forms of art into clothing designs and so began the journey of Inkover Fashion, displaying it’s SS20 pieces at this fashion week and personifying both his signature and his skills as a tattooist with his an evoking collection.
Landeros New York
The New-York based designer Andre Landeros Michel started his label in 2013. Each collection has a little bit of his music taste embodied into his designs. With a love for music as a key inspiration he started his clothing-line: Landeros New York, taking influences from punk music plays Landeros enforces this into the design process to capture the essence of punk-chic.
The fashion-brand Founded by Yuan Lung Kao and Kartina Yu Wei Lee. After their Graduation from the Royal College of art back in 2018, the duo started to provide women with innovative options of interactive clothing, in combination with architectural silhouettes and creative materials.
Their latest Spring/Summer 2020 collection is entitled ‘Eclipse’, taking inspiration from crystallised moments with the circulation of three celestials bodies, creating a very authentic collection unique to their competitors.
Syzygy is a brand that focuses on the multi aspects of fashion. With texture designing and innovatively developed their own fabrics with laser cutting and specialised Jacquard knitting techniques and intricate silhouettes, displaying their ingenuity for this SS20 exhibit.
These three luxury conceptual brands, each with their own signature create designs to impact on the global-luxury market of fashion with designs that are both striking and authentic and it will be interesting to see which celebrities we will see next in their designs.
