Bobby Abley: Bobby Abley made his mark in the last London Collection: Men (LCM) with his unique fusion of teddy bear obsession, sportswear and pop-printmaking. You can see a hint of influence from his close work with iconic designer Jeremy Scott in his outlandish ideas that have a touch of darkness and simplicity, which could be inspired from his internship with Alexander McQueen. In Abley’s Autumn/Winter Phantom Manor collection he played with a Disney theme with a bright pink to a dark grey and black palette with silver mouth guards placed around the models lips. Besides having international retailers loving his pieces, music icons such as M.I.A and A$AP ROCKY love his designs. With his up and coming appearance, the designer has told LCM that his “SS15 is based on the undertones of a very famous story, with some fun tongue in cheek details. This one is perfect for summer.”

Liam Hodges: Starting his design journey after his graduation from Royal College Arts, with a standout graduation collection in 2013 he has been making heads turn. His capsule collection “Morris Nomads” (as seen above). Liam Hodges pieces play upon mythology and urban folklore, playing on graffiti prints on denim vest, jackets and t-shirts to transform the modern boys into what he explains as “lads.” He has definitely found a niche for himself with rap icon Drake seen in his designs. His pieces are stocked in Primitive London. He shared with LCM a few words for his upcoming collection with this interesting mix of ideas “White Fox and his British take, on native America.”

Nicomede Talavera: Coming from the magical world of Central Saint Martin’s Nicomede Talavera started his menswear label after his graduation in 2013. With an outstanding Fashion East installation, his Autmun/Winter collection (seen above) featured bold stripes with clean tailoring and a touch of 80s sportswear. Talavera sees his trademarks as “Graphic. Texture. Contrasts. Oddness. Details,” when talking to LCM, which he has refined over his studies and internships with 3.1 Philip Lim in New York and Lanvin Homme in Paris. With an inspiration of “Lines. Louise Bourgeois. Sol Lewitt. Tetris. Grids. Optical” his lael’s catwalk debut has everyone waiting to see what he has created next!
