Another iconic time is here with Kate Moss launching another collaboration with the renowned Topshop. The Supermodel has been working hard with the creatives at the prestigious clothing store to create a collection, with such envious style fashionistas around the world having been trying to keep it cool while waiting for the collection to drop! The collection covers four styles inspired from the supermodel’s own pieces of clothing she can’t live without, Balearic Island, Tailoring Noir, Pajama Dressing and Cocktail. Each piece from the collaboration oozes chic London style and a strong essence of the Moss Boss, from hand embellished aztec kaftans, silver shimmering maxis to 70s bohemia.
Kate Moss just like Topshop has never followed trends but defies them by paving her own way in fashion. Which makes this collection so special pulling direct reincarnations from some of the Supermodels most envious fashion moments. Cara Delevingne, another supermodel compared to the likes of Moss sings her praises about her collection in the Nowness video for Topshop saying “As soon as I heard she was working with Topshop it was just perfect, it’s like London brand, London girl, THE London girl all coming together.” (See the full video here on Topshop)

Kate Moss said in her Topshop behind the scenes video “I have grown up since my past collection” saying the difference is “it’s more sophisticated and every piece in this collection is something I would wear.” Comparisons from her actual fashion moments over the years to the pieces in the collection are so close, making fashionistas get that iconic feeling and a piece of Moss’s style essence. This comes from her close work with four Topshop creatives alongside her fashion partner in crime Katy England, who in her own right is an icon in the fashion world just like Kate. Katy England has been working within the world of runways and photoshoots as one of England’s most extolled stylists, from helping the likes of Alexander McQueen, Givenchy to Miss Moss.
Each garment has a luxurious quality that is it’s own, with the aztec kaftan hand embellished on Indian linen to the luscious silk used to re-invent the cocktail dress from her 2007 Topshop collaboration. A stand out piece has to be the silver metallic maxi drawing from Moss’s most acclaimed moment when she was 19 years old next to Naomi Campbell in a sheer silver slip dress. To her flapper dress outfit with Johnny Depp at the Ed Wood movie launch in 1994, which is seen in silver beaded comparison in the collaboration series.
