Whether you’ve noticed this young beauty on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills beside her mother Yolanda, her previous Gucci campaign or standing next to her musical beau Cody Simpson, Gigi Hadid is more than meets the eye. This exotic blonde who has modeled since the tender age of 4, is now signed to IMG models and has made her name for herself. Gigi has been a Gucci veteran, modeling for the iconic label’s Gucci Baby and Gucci Kids. With Dutch and Palestinian heritage, she is definitely one of kind but don’t mistake her for just a model she has gone off to New York to pursue her studies in Criminology and further her fashion career.

The self-professed tumblr lover (follow her tumblr here) knows how to pursue her dreams, not just through her gifted looks but all the hard hours of work she puts into what she loves. As Miss Hadid said to fashion photographer Kymberly Marciano in an interview on her blog in 2013 “I think the most inspiring thing about my parents is that they came from nothing and through hard work and determination they both reached their goals. They’ve blessed me with many things, but the most important things they’ve shared with me are the stories and lessons of their experiences. They worked hard so that they could support their family but they’ve always taught me the importance of making a name for myself regardless of the past success of my family, be financially independent, and using my success to help the less fortunate.” (See the full interview on Kymberly’s blog here)

Guess isn’t the only campaign this budding model is known for. Gigi recently did work for the CR Fashion book fashion spread Fairy Tales with the iconic Carine Rotifeld. This model isn’t afraid to push the boundaries when it comes to modeling, featuring a sneaky shot of her birthday suit in a V magazine spread, where Gigi was draped in Burberry to Chanel while being photographed by Sebastian Feana (as seen below). But Gigi is always humble when speaking about her experiences in fashion. When talking about the CR Fashion Book shoot to Vanity Fair reporter Bennet Marcus Gigi said “I would have been fine being on that set with Bruce Weber and Carine Roitfeld, just, like, cleaning the horse shit. Like, honestly, I would have been so happy. So, the fact that they were, one, looking at me and, dressing me and shooting me and finally put me on the cover is completely surreal and humbling, and I’m so honored to have worked with them.” (Read the full Vanity Fair interview here)
