A prolific graf artist and a pioneer in art toys, he has instead sifted aspects of the commercial and the criminal into a wholly singular career. He has made victory laps in the urban vinyl toy scene – at the design helm of both Kidrobot and his own creative agency, Thunderdog Studios – as well as in the world of advertising and of course, out in the street.

Biography

A stage flourished by incandescent reflections of  hyper realism premiering at Hasbro, Pepsi and Nike. Pioneering the field of graffiti and designer toys world by working with toy-production Kidrobot designer Paul Budnitz, Game of Thrones and Pangeaseed Foundation. A myriad of inspirational motifs such as Os Gemeos and Takashi Murikami. Tristan Eaton started pursuing street art as a teenager, painting everything from billboards to dumpsters in the urban landscapes of the cities where he lived, be it London, Detroit, or New York. He designed his first toy for Fisher-Price at 18 years old and soon became a driving force in the world of designer toys.

Eaton’s work can be seen in the Museum of Modern Art’s (MoMA) permanent collection. He was has also been the designer of Soul Train Music Awards for BET a subsidiary of Viacom. Eaton is regularly commissioned as a creative director and consultant for clients such as Nike, Hasbro and Barack Obama on projects that span the globe across all medium.
