Ms Phung presented her Spring Summer 2014 RTW collection named Liquid Delusion to the eager Paris Fashion week fashionistas on the 25th September 2013. With a simply breathtaking location on the rooftop of the Galeries Lafayette, accompanied by the crystal clear blue skyline of the Eiffel Tower as the backdrop. Ms Phung’s designs were reflective of a water theme with the color palette of blue, black and white paired with hand drawn illustrations by William James Thurman imitating the rippling of water. The tranquil water motif comes from her continual inspiration from geometry in nature, facets in architecture and the fresh aesthetics of contemporary design. She delicately fusions her inspirations with each piece presenting a both fluid but structural culture in her prints and construction each design. Creating an overall cohesive collection as the opening show for Paris Fashion Week 2014.

The models walked a unique runway on the rooftop around blocks of water to mirror her aesthetics behind her designs. WWD described the mood of the show as quiet and reflective, setting the perfect ambience for each piece from Liquid Delusion. Allowing the pieces to speak for themselves as the models navigated throughout the water maze.

In an interview with RelaxNews before the runway presentation, Ms Chung talked about her work with pleating specialist Monsieur Lognon whose art of pleating has been passed down from the time of Napoleon III. Her precise understanding of the pleating art is present throughout the collection with two outstanding pieces; a bold blue dress and the black and white print seen below were simply awe-inspiring with the Parisian skyline.
