Ripped to the extreme

The weirder you look can sometimes get a bigger and better response! Ripped jeans have been in fashion for a long time now, whether it’s a little rip in the knees or to the extreme with massive holes in each leg. When it comes to wearing jeans there are a wide range of different colors, patterns, lengths and styles. Simple skinny jeans with rips in the knee are very trendy. Wear with a bodysuit, contrasting biker jacket and some boots and it will make your outfit look edgy and cool. If like me you have your own sense of fashion and style, sometimes the most unusual outfits are the most appealing to you. Having your own style means you’ve got to be daring, think outside the box and not worry about who does and doesn’t like your outfit. A little OTT is what some of our celebs prefer at the moment including Gigi Hadid, Kim Kardashian and Beyonce, wearing very ripped and frayed jeans.

I too am also a fan of the extreme ripped effect, wearing barely there baggy fit jeans from Missguided, but you could find similar jeans across many high street stores including, Topshop, MissEmpire and Boohoo. I decided to add my own twist onto a key piece, adding some fishnet tights underneath for a more statement style, wearing the tights high above the jean waistline showing a layering effect. I’ve added a basic, black jersey bralet and a simple white cropped t-shirt on top, making the bottom half stand out even more! With a must have pair of hi-top Van trainers or even a pair of converses to complete the ‘extreme’ look!

Hitting the 90’s spotlight this season, bringing back the Bandanna

Yes. Bandanna are back!! They might not be to everyone’s liking, but I love them! Nowadays you can wear this 90’s bandanna however you like, go with the obvious and wear it as a headband to pull back those long strands of hair. To make it look like an extension of your style, giving off a funky and hip hop vibe, wear with a pair of denim dungarees, Calvin Klein bralet and on trend superstar trainers.

If you’re feeling extra chic and you’re looking for an amazing, eye catching, statement piece to bulk up around your neck, look no further. Tie a bandanna around your neck and make it into a choker to add a bit of style on top of a plain outfit. Choose from a variety of colored bandanna or the popular paisley print, simply folding it up into whatever shape you would like, taking influence from the amazing fashion guru Rihanna, available in Topshop and ASOS. You can even try tying a bandanna around your bag as a bag accessory or be even more adventurous and bold and tie one into a bikini top/bralet, wear under dungarees or with high waist jeans.

Trainers may be a girl’s new best friend

Females wearing trainers….? That used to only happen in the gym! Nowadays, most females live in trainers, being comfy is all that matters. Let’s be honest who really enjoys wearing heels all day every day? It’s a killer and leaves you crippled the next day and in desperate need of a foot massage. Whether you wear a pair of trainers to get to and from work, to go to the gym in or worn as everyday footwear, I guarantee every lady has at least one pair of trainers. I must admit I am a tomboy at heart so trainers for me is like my first language, I live in trainers. What style or brand of trainer you wear has become a big deal for this generation. If you’re looking to update your trainers, I would suggest Converse, not only do they look cool but they are one of the comfiest pairs of shoe I own. If in need of an upgrade from Converse I’d recommend Vans, they are my new favorite, just like the Converse they go with everything!! Wear with jeans and a crop top, layered with a bomber jacket or go cute and girly and wear a shirt with a slip dress over the top. And there you have it your new trainer look.
